Welcome to my first Blog!
We started 3D HR at the end of June. It’s been an interesting time – changing from a daily commute of 3 hours travel to being based at home. From working within an organisation of 130 people (and another 400 spread over 15 countries) to working on my own – and talking over everything with Jan when she comes back from work at her school.
At the end of June it suddenly seemed right to do what we had always said we would do – work together as a couple and for me to use my experience to support not just one organisation but wherever I could be useful. My passion is for people to recover the right balance between work and their home-life and for diversity and difference to be appreciated – rather than seen as being divisive in a negative sense.
The idea of three dimensions came from family discussions last Christmas when we realised how much stronger an integrated life pattern is than separate compartments.
Let’s see how this all pans out in the months and years ahead.
