I am a Human Resources professional and have worked in international development over the last 25+ years. Before setting up 3D HR, I was International HR Manager then HR Director at WaterAid. Previously I was Personnel and Training Manager for the Church Mission Society (CMS) based in UK.

My background is in agricultural development with ten years managing a fish farming development programme in Tanzania before returning to the UK as a regional manager for CMS. I then decided to move into HR as a profession so that I could support people involved in international development work.

We formed 3D HR in June 2007 to use my experience to fuel my passion to support people so they can flourish in their work-place. The idea of three dimensions is that you need to consider your job as the work you need to do, the skills you require to do it well and the team you need to work with. Leave out any one dimension and you won’t be as effective or flourish as well as you could.

I’m married to Jan who is a qualified teacher for children with a visual impairment and we have two adult children, Jamie and Sarah, who inspire and challenge us!

I hope you find the blog interesting and the website helpful – and I look forward to hearing from you.

Peter
